About

My name is Naveen Havannavar and I am a proud resident of Pittsford.
My wife, Kate, and I were drawn to the area for its strong schools, vibrant community and stunning scenery. We have two young children who attend Park Road Elementary and PUNS, and being involved in their education and extracurricular activities is a priority for us.
I am a technology manager with over 20 years of experience leading diverse engineering teams at companies like Paychex and Xerox. I hold a BSc in Maths, Physics, and CS, as well as an MBA in Marketing & Systems. I also strive to make a positive impact on my community by utilizing my professional skills and knowledge as an advisor to various non-profit and community boards. I currently serve as the Chairperson at the India Community Center and am enrolled in Leadership Rochester's signature program.I believe in giving back and contributing to society. I have been awarded Rochester Business Journal's Forty Under 40 award, which recognizes professional success and community service. I believe that by being actively involved and engaged in my community, I can help make it a better place for my family and all the families who call it home.In my free time, I am an actor and have appeared in movies, commercials, and recently at Kalidas theater. I am also a certified pilot and enjoy flying single engine airplanes. My family and community are at the center of my life and I am committed to being a positive and productive member of both.
